General terms of sale for online purchases on the website

General notes
These general terms of sale ("General Terms") are governed by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) and the regulations on electronic commerce (Legislative Decree no. 70/2003).
The customer (hereinafter "Customer") is invited to consult these General Terms in the manner they prefer.
Public offer
The products and their prices displayed on the website constitute a public offer, in accordance with the terms specified in the General Terms and on the website itself. The conditions of this offer apply exclusively to purchases made on the website.
Prices
All prices are inclusive of VAT. The price shown on the website at the time of order confirmation shall apply to the products, regardless of any previous offers or subsequent price changes.
Order
Purchase orders must be placed online through the order procedure (hereinafter "Order Procedure") available on the website. To complete the purchase order, the Customer must provide the required personal data necessary to make the purchase. The Customer has correctly completed the Order Procedure if no error message is displayed on the website. The purchase contract shall be deemed concluded upon receipt of the order by Masseria Fano.
In such case, Masseria Fano will acknowledge receipt of the order by sending a confirmation email (hereinafter "Order Confirmation") to the email address provided by the Customer. This confirmation will summarise the products purchased, their prices, the delivery address, the order number (hereinafter "Order Number"), and the General Terms and specific conditions applicable to the order.
The Customer undertakes to verify the accuracy of the data contained in the Order Confirmation and to notify Masseria Fano of any corrections within 24 (twenty-four) hours of receiving it. Any additional costs arising from errors in the data not reported in a timely manner shall be borne by the Customer.
The Order Number, generated by the automated system and communicated by Masseria Fano, must be used by the Customer in every communication with Masseria Fano. Some products may occasionally be unavailable; in such cases, where the products chosen by the Customer are not available, Masseria Fano will notify the Customer accordingly.
Shipping and deliveries
Your purchased products will be carefully packaged by us and shipped via express courier DHL, UPS, SDA, GLS, TNT, FEDEX. Your goods are normally dispatched within 2–3 working days for products already available in stock.
Failed delivery
In the event that the recipient of the shipment is absent, the express courier will notify them of the failed delivery via email or SMS. In case of failed delivery, the goods will be returned to the warehouse. After the first delivery attempt, the courier will send an email/SMS through which the recipient can reschedule delivery; if the second attempt also fails, the shipment will be placed in storage. After 4 working days from the opening of storage, the shipment will be returned to the sender.
Goods in storage
The storage service consists of the safekeeping of shipments that could not be delivered for reasons beyond Masseria Fano's control. In case of failed delivery, goods are placed in designated monitored areas with restricted access. Goods will remain in storage for 4 days, during which the recipient may contact the branch holding the shipment directly to arrange personal collection at the premises.

Accepted payment methods
Masseria Fano accepts the following payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, credit card.
Payment by bank transfer
By selecting this method, you will receive our bank details by email at the time of purchase confirmation. When paying by bank transfer, goods will only be shipped once payment has been credited to our bank account. We nevertheless recommend sending a copy of the bank receipt by email in order to reserve the purchased goods in your name.
The reason for payment on the bank transfer must indicate: the order number; the full name of the person placing the order.
If payment is not received within 5 days of order confirmation, the order will be automatically cancelled.
Customer service
The Customer may obtain information regarding after-sales support services by accessing the "Contact" section of the website, via email, or by phone.
Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal, as provided for by current legislation, applies to the purchase of items online on the website. The time limit for exercising the right of withdrawal is 14 days, within which the Customer must send notification by registered letter with return receipt to the following address: Antica Masseria del Fano di Ziletti Roberto - Strada Vicinale Fano 73050 Salve (LE).
- the right applies to individual products purchased in their entirety;
- the purchased product(s) must be intact and returned in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and accompanying documentation);
- the delivery costs for returning the product are borne by the Customer;
- the return is under the full responsibility of the Customer.
If the right of withdrawal has been correctly exercised, Masseria Fano will refund the Customer the full amount already paid (less any cash-on-delivery charges), within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notification.
Warranties
Legal warranty for the consumer
The consumer, as defined in Article 3 of the Consumer Code (hereinafter, "Consumer Code", Legislative Decree of 6 September 2005, no. 206), is entitled to the legal warranty provided by Articles 128 to 132 of the Consumer Code.
This warranty provides, among other things, that the consumer must notify Masseria Fano of any lack of conformity found in the purchased product within 1 (one) month of its discovery, under penalty of forfeiture (Article 132, Consumer Code).
Following such notification, the consumer shall be entitled to request the repair or replacement of the product, without prejudice to any other rights provided by law in favour of the consumer. The above legal warranty is valid for a maximum period of 6 (six) months from delivery of the product. Beyond this period, Masseria Fano shall not be liable for any lack of conformity found by the consumer.
In the event of replacement or repair of the product, the warranty terms relating to the replacement product or the product resulting from the repair shall be the same as those of the original product. Therefore, the overall six-month duration of the legal warranty shall in any case run from the delivery of the original product.
Processing of personal data
The Customer's data is processed by Masseria Fano in accordance with current data protection legislation, as specified in the information notice provided in the "Policy" section of the website.
